Netflix’s Russian Doll landed back February 2019 having a sneer, a belch and a killer hook: tough, smart-ass ny gaming developer Nadia (Natasha Lyonne) products, smokes and fornicates her way though her birthday that is 36th then dies horribly while chasing down her missing cat.
Then she wakes up at her party and also the exact same evening starts once again. And once more. And once again. It really is Groundhog Day with grot and cursing, existential angst and an earlier midlife crisis – and both critics and watchers went angry for this.
But maybe there is another period?
